For nearly thirty years, I managed money inside some of the largest companies in the country, eventually as a vice president in a Fortune 500 finance department. I was good at it. What kept tugging at me, though, was the thought that I could put the same skill to better use for actual people instead of corporate balance sheets, so in 2016 I started my own wealth management practice with The Bulfinch Group and turned my full attention to individuals and families.
I work with successful individuals and families, corporate executives, small business owners, and fellow professionals. These are the clients whose finances have grown complicated enough that bringing the pieces together makes a real difference. My focus tends to land on accumulating wealth and protecting the assets behind it, which is where a few decades of experience earn their keep. Bringing my son Chris into the practice has been one of the more meaningful steps I have taken, since the families I have advised for years now have a second generation ready to carry their plans forward, and that matters to me as much as a father as it does as an advisor.
I live in Foxborough with my wife, Lori. Away from the office, you will usually find me on a golf course, following Boston sports through every high and low, or spending time on Cape Cod.
